Tim Tebow scored two touchdowns as a back up against them

In Nick Saban's time at Alabama, he has done the same...especially early on. He used his National Championship ring from LSU to promote winning and he used former LSU players to promote development and future NFL chances.

In this case, Urban Meyer is using Tim Tebow, and I don't think it's a bad idea considering what all he accomplished.

Doesn't he have his own players from Ohio State to use? This isn't a good look in my opinion.

It makes much more sense to reference players you've coached than ones you didn't. I always get a kick out of coaches touting players at their current school that they took no part in developing.

I don't really see the problem here.

Yes, but none were as good as Tim Tebow.

He's also one of the more well-known personalities in the world, on the field and off.

More like Urban Meyer using Tebow to promote his latest paying gig. This smacks of commit to the coach, not the school

And you queers tried to use Bama's National Championships to promote your own program when you got saddled with Lance Thompson.

Yeah Tebow is getting used here and he looks like a chump to me. I don't care if he wants to go hang out with his old coach but allowing them to use you for marketing purposes is poor form.

This reminds me of Auburn's "Mahlzahn U" propaganda.
