It's obvious that Texas was going to roll before the cheap shot. They almost let a second team scrub lead a comeback and beat them

God... This board has the worst hard on for Alabama. The sheer stupidity that is prevalent in this thread is embarrassing. First Okie State lost to Iowa State, winning a conference championship in the diminished big 12 is not grounds for being in the national title game especially when that conference twice benefitted from the same rules that allowed Bama to be in the national championship game. Not to mention the pathetic loss Okie State had.

Secondly, Colt McCoy's injury happened during the game, and it is mere conjecture to assert that Texas would of won based off of Colt McCoy playing.

Third, it is extremely tiring to hear all the whining about the SEC. Alabama has won 3 out of the last 4 national titles. The SEC has won them all since the 2006 season. If you cannot accept those facts then you are delusional. It is embarrassing that posters continue to try and claim the SEC is not good because a few teams have losses. Alabama is not a fraud, they are the best program in the country and the envy of many on this board. Do any of you realize that Alabama has only given up two touchdowns since the A&M game? No, instead you are trying to assert that everything Bama does is not as good because you desperately want to see the end of the dominance. Bama is #1 they have earned it and have played like it. Deal with it. Hopefully the Buckeyes will have the opportunity to end the streak.

This Buckeyes fan knows what's up.

if they didn't rule themselves out last year they would have beaten ND

They might've beaten them, but it would've been a close game. They wouldn't have beaten them near as bad as Bama did.

I didn't know tOSU wanted to get involved with the discussion. (in my Sam Kinnison in Back to School tone)

Are we talking about the same Ohio State that went to not one, but two overtime games last year?

not to mention a number of other close games, including UAB.

Plus, this comes from a fan whose team is 0- for SEC in its bowl games (we'll pretend Arkansas isn't in the SeC for this post)

They won the games douche bags.

tOSU would never even sniff a MNC game if you were in the SEC.

You would be a good team but you would never make it to the top.

You need the ranked Northwesterns and shite Michigans of the world to even get a chance. You know it too.

If you dont - take up soccer.

Uhh, they won. Then had to vacate the victory.
ETA: unless they played an SEC team after 2011 season, can't remember.

Let's examine last year. Bama played 3 really good teams in the regular season (sorry Michigan you don't count).
Does anyone else find it funny that in one argument they say Michigan wasn't a good team when Bama played them but then they have to use that same team to help justify their schedule?
