LSU has also been projected as a top 10 team the last 5 years. You know what they say about predictions.

"Brandon Harris is on an upward trend"

It'll all come down to the OL IMO. It's certainly possible as the talent and coaching is there.

Jeremy Johnson was "projected" as a Heisman finalist too

LSU coming in right ahead of Memphis and Colorado State

At least the early season LSU- Auburn game will at least shut up one of these fanbases.

LSU found a QB yet? A OL?

We'll see won't we? You thought the same in 2014, I'm sure.
ETA: And btw, I'm talking about State beating LSU, not Auburn.

This caveat is interesting:
Not saying I question the methodology here but I totally question the methodology. They all but admit they're making it up based on how dreamy they think the coaches and units are and aren't worrying about pesky things like scoring and yardage.

First, it's the top 25 offenses, based on a combination of proven talent and coaching and how well we think these units will function as a whole during the 2017 season. (They're not necessarily rankings of who will score the most points or rack up the most yards.)

State didn't suck in 2014
It was 35-0 at halftime, in your stadium, last year. We return 18 starters, gain the best QB in the league, and it's at JHS....
Looking at the facts laid out like and any objective person would say you're delusional for suggesting MSU will even be competitive in that game
It's not going to be pretty for State in Auburn this year.
I feel so comfortable with an easy win that I would stake my dogs life that State won't even be within 14.
ETA:
Beating LSU is believable though. But I wouldn't get on either of y'all in that game.

I'm just saying that LSU is once again overrated and will lose quite a few games. Including to State in Starkville. You can choose to take that as talking shite, but it is far from it. The reality is that LSU is not the program they have been. It's evidenced by the many close games that the two teams have had recently that could've gone either way.
