No, they showed the graphic at the end of the game that #1 has made it in 10 of the last 12 years, but the last time was 16 Hawaii beating 1 Alabama in 2011 or so.

Florida at least won a couple championships before this. Thought they were gonna make it 3 this year, but they have nothing to hang their heads about.

Lost in all of that was the awesome 2 games that Wilkinson pitched. If not for 2 HBPs she might have had 2 shutouts

I was actually wondering about that first HBP: in baseball you have to make an attempt to avoid getting hit to get the base but I'm guessing in softball that's not the case? Girl that got hit got hit on her back elbow after she had turned in to the pitch

Alabama and Auburn didn't either besides the SECT. Weird conference scheduling this year. Auburn's schedule was really favorable in particular. Was afraid it would hurt them.

Feel bad for those Gator seniors, they're a sensational bunch. But damn Jawja looked good two days in a row. I didn't see any of the game today, did Wilkinson pitch again?

It's always kind of weird. There are 13 teams in conference, and they only play 24 conference games in a season. So, each team misses four conference teams each year during the regular season. LSU missed Aubrun, UT, Mizzou, and Ole Miss this year.
