Alabama usually suffers 7 or so transfers every offseason. They just aren't always young guys. Coupled with some members of the 2016 class not qualifying, four walkons got very fortunate.
C.J. Mosley's baby brother got awarded one earlier this week.

At the conclusion of the outdoor practice, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban announced to the entire team that a trio of walk-ons in tight end Truett Harris (Sr., Brentwood, Tenn.), tight end Brandon Moore (Sr., Cincinnati, Ohio) and defensive back Levi Wallace (Jr., Tucson, Ariz.) had been awarded scholarships.

Who gives a shite? This is okay for the Bama board, but not the SEC rant. You might as well post "Bama practiced today".

I mean we only have multiple 20 plus page transfer threads. This was the conclusion.

I know. I'm worried that two of the four aren't seniors.

Probably going to be talking about #8 this time in 2018.

They probably know the scholarships are likely just until the spots need to be filled.

I was being facetious. Alabama will sign a bigger class in 2017 now. Still good to see walkons have a free ride until then.

Yes, yes, let's have the Vegas odds from June for LSU games posted. We haven't had that topic before.
Or, another post claiming aranda is the next buddy Ryan.
Or, another post on how superhuman fournette is and can't be tackled.
Yea, u can take those to the LSU board. Nobody else gives a shite.

I always like to see these kids get rewarded, even if it is at bama. Good for them.

So who is CJ's little brother? You would think if they are your brother they would have the same last name, but I guess many baby daddies is the way to go at bama?

The new recruiting rules that the SEC put in place in 2012 really hurt A&M and MIZZOU. The other schools had already benefitted from over-recruiting, but A&M and MIZZOU were forced to deal with slowly depleting rosters.
Now 5 years later, everybody is finally on a fair playing field. Things like this are now going to happen to everybody.
As a side note. It is pretty interesting that a UT program that managed to find "loopholes" in recruiting during the 2013 season by granting "blue shirts" and adding 35 scholarships (LINK /) is all of a sudden picked to win the East 3 years later...
