Not a bad draw for Vandy. No guarantee that they take advantage of it.

Outside of LSU, I'm pulling for Vandy. Brought pride back home to the SEC with their recent CWS National Championship

My only argument is that it's kind of shitty given that UofL was the #7 National Seed and Kentucky just missed on a National Seed and got paired. But they're going to put you in a regional matchup that fills the seats.

We've been worse places.

I guess I understand that, I'm just curious as to who else Kentucky would rather be matched up with? Like, assuming you have to play a National Seed, wouldn't you want it to be the #7 or #8 considering those would be the "worst" two national seeds? Better than having to play Oregon State or North Carolina, that's for sure.

I'd argue Stanford but I wouldn't want to go that far out West either. UofL dropped a bit further than I expected and I think it was so they could justify the super matchup.

Better the devil you know though.

UNC, those opening 3 games were won by just 4 runs total. If UK went back for the Super could have totally embarrassed the Tar Heels at home in their Super.

Just glad to be in. I do hate how they match you by geography. We always go to FSU.

There is always a team that makes a run. If the Cheetahs get back their early season pitching, they could surprise folks.

I like Auburn and Vanderbilt's draw.

Yea. I think Auburn can give FSU all they want. Sometimes, FSU seems to fold like a cheap tent in regionals or supers.

End of the season Auburn will get rolled but if they play like they were earlier on, they'll be fine.

Kentucky got screwed. Easily the toughest path to Omaha. No way they should have received that draw after almost winning the SEC and doing ok in Hoover.

State might as well be playing at home.

Hell it is even better than that for many of our fans, Hattiesburg is far closer than Starkville for the a huge part of the fan base.

The fact that USM has the fan support of your average t-ball team means they will effectively be playing on the road in a maroon stadium.

We should have been one of the first 4 out though.

That is the most pathetic thing I have seen someone ever complain about.

Yea, I would agree. They didn't put up much of a fight in the SEC Tourney when their backs were to the wall. If they can some how find a way to get back to playing how they were a few weeks ago prior to the Bama series, they can win the FSU regional. Two solid starters and a decent bullpen can win a regional.
