What does this tell me?

On paper, georgia is playing good football.

Points and yards per drive are very important metrics. Where did you find them?

It means UGA is making it rain stats against shitty teams. In the grand scheme of things those charts don't mean shite yet.

Of course pass happy offenses will causes their defenses to be on the field more resulting in that teams defenses possibly giving up less points and yards per drive as compared to a team with a high ROP on offense.

It can also go the other way. Teams with lots of 3 and outs give the other teams offense more chances to score and run up the yardage.

We are truly terrible, both on the field and on paper.

Well yes, I'm not claiming that these 2 stats are the one all be all of measuring a team.

You can't tell the aggie fanbase that though. They live off OOC stats. Not a bright group when it comes to understanding football. They're more like girls that like their coach's helicopter visits, glow-n-dark uniforms, new stadium, etc. Anything non-championship related. They will OOC stat you to death. See Myles Garrett.

Or maybe it's just the unwashed dumbasses of louisiana that need reminders as it's painfully obvious to everyone else that 2 statistics do not describe the team.

You know who else pays a lot of attention to metrics? Vegas.

(Not that any one or two metrics can capture the whole picture, of course.)
