They would have never known. Those trees were practically dead when he did it. The years of high pressure hoses to clean the TP out had pretty much killed the trees. Harvey did Aubun a favor by taking those trees out. I think what he did was wrong and it was classless but it will work out for the better for Auburn.

Not that it matters. Your fan killed them, a very few of your fans celebrated such an act. Many more blasted the guy. Right or wrong your whole fanbase gets shite for it.

it's been noted several occasions in the 90's that those tree's were going to eventually die due to the pressure hoses. of course, no one affiliated with Auburn would admit to hearing or seeing that info.

yes, the trees were going to eventually die, it's what trees do.
