In spite of repeated conversations about the e-landfill that the SECr has become, the admins have shown no interest in cleaning it up.

i think it's been this bad since i was here- sure it has better and worse days but overall pretty much the same.
that said, normally i enjoy the bad.
eta: what i find most annoying are obvious alters and the repeating of stuff over and over (i.e. tennessee had no one drafted- give em hell but there doesn't need to be 10 threads on the subject).

Ideally yes. But honestly I don't think it's possible for us to go back to those days again, if they ever truly existed. I typically try to be a fairly decent poster, but I feel we've entered an unavoidable state of "flame or be flamed" on this board. Even if I try to be the ultimate bro to everyone, I'll still catch some shite for my team affiliation alone, and the same is true for almost every poster on this board. So I'll throw my jabs here and there, and I don't expect that'll change in the future. Especially when golden opportunities like the recent Ole Miss situation pop up, that just makes it too easy.
