The qb competing for starter with Grier is Treon Harris and he should not be left out...although below .500 as a passer, he was a true frosh last year but did come off the bench to help UF win some games and also started.
I know Bateman, Grier are two of the highest rated qbs out of high school on this list. Five stars, fours who cares? It doesnt guarantee instant success. Tebow was highly recruited and that worked out well....Wuerffel was sought after also and ditto Driskel & Brissett.

Seriously though. Why does LSU repeatedly and consistently suck 2 feet of Uganda Tranny Cock at the QB position?

He didn't pan out? Wasn't he a 5 star?
4 star I think. He's still in the process of panning or not panning out. He, like everyone in Tuscaloosa county, is in the mix to be the starter for us this year, depending on which day you read the reports.

Just thinking of tHarrisiah leading our offense onto the field has the rest of the sec shaking in fear.

2013 says hello.
They do tend to be worse at that position as compared to the overwhelming consistent success at the other 21 positions. Dinardo, Saban, etc were also challenged by this at times, this is not just a Miles thing, but the short memory, or lack of, percolates this and other fanbases.

When did LSU fans fall in love with Brandon Harris? Didn't y'all hate him last season?
In order IMO:
1. Jeremy Johnson will be the best because of scheme.
2. Lambert/Ramsey second for the same reason (plus an All-SEC RB)
3. Coker/Morris because they'll have a top defense and it's Alabama
4. Harris because having Fournette and a great defense makes his job easier.
5. Will Grier next, he has great talent, but not many great players around him.
6. Connor Mitch is last imo because he only has one receiver and a below average defense. But never count out the HBC.

I think a high 4 by the end. It's just sounding like he's getting passed by younger guys, and being a kid from Utah, he probably was overrated due to lack of competition.

No one hated Harris. What the hell are you talking about?
Most fans wanted to see him play over Jennings, regardless of whether he was ready or not, because most fans felt that he couldn't do any worse than Jennings.
The guy had one bad game. He was very good besides that Auburn game.

Wait. What?
- The two most talented guys on that list are obviously Harris and Johnson.
- Harris is LOADED with talent at WR and TE and RB, and I mean loaded for years!
- Harris has a legit QB coach, something no previous LSU QBs had between 2007 and 2012.
-LSU always has at least a decent OL and run game to take pressure off the QB.
-Harris still has 3 years of eligibility on a team that will be offensively loaded with talent and experience every year.
I know you are a TAMU fan and believe LSU can't have good QB play, but you'll see as early as this year why your beliefs are wrong.

I'm bookmarking this thread to laugh at the people who doubt Harris/LSU. Going to be a fun ride to the top.
