According to one on-line sports book (americasbookie.com), here are the odds at this point for various SEC teams to win the 2015 NCAA men's basketball tournament:

Kentucky 1:1.75
Florida 100:1
Georgia 175:1
Arkansas 200:1
LSU 200:1
Ole Miss 250:1

No other SEC teams are listed. A few things surprise me here. First, it's pretty amazing that Kentucky is such a heavy favorite, at substantially less than 1:1 (i.e. you'd have to bet $175 on them to win $100). They should obviously be the favorites, but no one else in the country is any lower than 4.5:1. Second, it's crazy that Florida has shorter odds than Georgia, Arkansas, LSU, or Ole Miss, since they in all likelihood will not even make the tournament. Finally, where is Texas A&M? I would think they would be right in there with LSU, Arkansas, and Ole Miss.

Of course, another way to look at this is that no one from the SEC other than Kentucky has a snowball's chance in Hell, so who cares?

I'm surprised at the Kentucky line as well. Just because I could see them dropping one in the SECT if they're all out of fricks to give by the end of the regular season.

ETA: Now if they drop one before the tournament, I could definitely see that kind of line.

Not sure I follow your logic here. Just to be clear, these are odds to win the NCAA tournament, not the SEC tournament. Do you really think whether or not Kentucky drops a game in the remainder of the regular season and/or the SEC tournament will make a major difference in their likelihood of winning the national championship?

Florida is easily the most overrated team in the SEC

I read it as SEC tournament, not NCAA. But to answer this:

Only 7 teams have gone wire to wire undefeated. Personally I think dropping a game could take some of the pressure off.

Comon. Someone upset Kentucky in the SEC tourney so we can win it. You guys know you need us in the NCAAs.
