I really dont think LSU is built to win it all. I can definitely see them getting there, i just dont think they have enough quality arms.

They would have to hit their way to a championship and that's very hard to do.

I think Vandy is the smartest bet on the board.

Outside of UCLA, pick the next small ball team with a deep pitching staff.

The new ball still won't have much effect in that park. It is simply catered for a UCLA type team.

TD Ameritrade has changed the game completely.
Offense will still be at a premium until they move the fences in.
LSU pitching this year reminds me of Miss St when they made their run, LSU will have to piece it together at times but starters do have the ability to put quality starts together. Won 2 sec tourney games and our pitching didn't make it out of 2nd. Lost game where the pitching was dominant.

Still not convinced this team can bunt which will come into play in Omaha.

I think we hit two HR's when we played Creighton at TDA park.

That's good to hear. Hopefully that's not just an anomaly. Still though, with the pitching in the CWS, the ridiculous foul territory and a constant breeze that holds the gappers up in the air I still think offenses will be at a disadvantage and small ball/defense will the more emphasized.

Yea and LSU is overly aggressive this year. Could be the death of them or lead them to victory.

Agreed. I know Hoover has the same dimensions as TD Ameritrade but the two parks play nothing alike. TD ameritrade does not know what winding blowing out feels like.

Depends on if the LSU bats show up when the bullpen arms don't and vice versa. When both show up I like out chances with anyone.

At those odds, I actually agree, and not because they're my team. They're not the best team out there this year, but they have the ability to get really hot, so it's not a bad bet to make if you're actually laying down cash.

We've bunted far more and far more successfully than we ever have before. We've also been MUCH more aggressive stealing this year and half the lineup can steal bases. I'm honestly only worried about our inconsistent pitching as of late.
