quote:The Academic Fraud was the worst in the initial NOA. But it seems OM instructed the media to make the narrative appear that there was nothing much to do with football, and there were only a few tiny/meaningless secondaries on the Freeze staff with the lions share of the allegations on Nutt's watch.
So in the first NOA wasn't the major violations dealing with the academic stuff? There was still stuff with Freeze but the big one that everyone want us punished for was the ACT stuff from the guy who coached on Nutt's staff. Pretty sure if I was the attorney for Ole Miss I could easily argue that Bjork thought that was the smoking gun the NCAA had at the time of the original Forde article. I'm not saying I believe our administration didn't know stuff was going to come out about Freeze, but at that time nothing really had except for the Tunsil loaner car. And as far as Godfrey delivering a lie to the media, he is a writer so he is the media. If you look at the original NOA, wouldn't you believe the worst offense is the academic fraud?
Now here y'all sit with an amended NOA that tags OM with LOIC and Freeze specifically named with failure to fulfill his compliance responsibilities as head of the program.
I don't doubt that Freeze preached the rules and regulations of compliance to his staff every freaking day. He drove home the absolute necessity to do things the right way. But he failed to monitor the actions of his own coaches to ensure they were practicing what he preached.

O I definitely blame freeze and bjork, I'm just saying when the original statement was made, there was at least some legitimacy to it in saying nutt 's regime was responsible. More has definitely come out, I'm just saying nutt threatening a lawsuit is bogus

See. There you go again. No one besides Bdork and legal counsel knows what's in any of the NOA's. You are perpetuating the university's narrative.

He's special.
He buckles both chinstraps.
He loves that helmet.
He loves to run down that big A
He calls those "Code Reds."
He had golden handcuffs.
He is an Ole Miss Rebel! Back to back, first time in 50 years!
He called that play!
Don't let go of that rope! He brought that wood!

I find it funny a State fan thinks Nutt should be apologized to when you all were crying "cheating!!" when he landed CJ Johnson

Yeah, Ole Miss owns the media.
Oh wait, I meant Alabama.

So if they're the only ones that know what's in the NOA wouldn't you think it's slightly stupid to claim slander and threaten to sue if at least part of the noa does involve nutt's tenure? Will never understand why miss state fans care so much about this. It really might be possible that state fans would be more pissed off if we get off with the self imposed penalties than ole miss fans would be if we get the death penalty.

Your administration didn't report shite. The NCAA found out about the ACT fraud when investigating ULL and David Saunders a former Ole Miss coach.

Thank you Ole Miss for taking Nutt from Arkansas.

There is a documentary about how he drove Mitch Mustain and Gus Malzahn out of Arkansas because he couldn't handle them getting some of his attention.
I could never force myself to watch that- is that actually how things were depicted? It took more than one to tango in that situation.

When Nutt went to Oxford, the message board wars that broke out between OM fans and Hogs was my favorite era of sports internet.
Until the NCAA decided to make a snuff film with the rebels. That's my favorite now

Nutt is a sensitive son of a gun. Always has been, he wants to protect his image which is already a joke.
