-Tunsil's StepDad sues CHF,

-RR Booster sues rival players,

-and now Houston Dale Nutt is supposedly suing the University of MS.

The Gift that Keeps on Giving

I saw a thread about this on the OM Spirit and tried to find info. Apparently this has been expected for some timeLINK

The Ambulance Chaser Culture is finally catching up to the Harvard of the South

OM paid Nutt his full buyout. I don't see how he has a leg to stand on in a defamation lawsuit? Especially when the stiffest allegation is frickin Academic Fraud which indeed occurred on Nutts watch.

He has to claim that the OM situation has kept him from getting another HC gig, doesn't he? What else could he claim?

It baffles me how obsessed State fans are with Ole Miss on this board. TBH I probably would be too. Nothing to do in Starkville other than checking-in on what's happening in Oxford.

He may have a case if the worst allegation of all weren't Academic Fraud that supposedly occurred under his regime. And his inability to get a coaching job goes back much further than Bjork's public comment on the NOA in 2016.

I don't know, I just fail to understand how Nutt can sue his former employer for defamation after they paid him millions to not coach at OM. And when the alleged defamation happened less that 18 months ago/he was fired in 2011. He hasn't been able to obtain a coaching job since being terminated in 2011....Bjork's comment was made in 2016.

His coaching/recruiting sucked arse his last two yrs at OM, they had a 6-18 record + the NCAA alleges Academic Fraud occurred under his watch. I could see why programs would want to steer clear of Hootie altogether.

I've never read the Spirit but we both know there are plenty of Reb fans that read Elitedawgs.

Come on mane.... let's not act like it doesn't flow the other way as well. How many times have we seen Ole Miss fans on here make fun of Elitedawgs.

Ole Miss...Harvard of the south?...LOL. Ole miss is not even in the top half of universities in the sec west, yet they're so dilusional to think of themselves in that manner. How can a school and fanbase be so brainwashed and dilusional as to believe they are something they're not on so many occasions, and in so many different spectrums? I swear it's like north Korea at ole miss, theyre taught and fed a bunch of lies their entire lives, so they honestly believe them to be true as they get older, when they're actually the exact opposite in real life. Scary.
