Now that Georgia played a good team from the West like SC and Florida did...

With SC, UGA, and Florida all beating each other, and UGA getting an easy schedule by not playing a top SEC West team, there was some debate about who was actually the best SEC East team.
Now Georgia played an elite West team and lost, as did SC and Florida.
We can throw out UGA's win against Ole Miss because in actuality it UGA's turn to play Bama.
Therefore:
Florida finished 7-1 in the SEC
Georgia finished 6-2 in the SEC
South Carolina finished 6-2 in the SEC
Florida was the best East team this season.
Had South Carolina played at home against Mississippi State, like they were supposed to until the SEC just decided to throw out the inter-division rotation, and Georgia played Alabama in the regular season per the rotation, Florida would have represented the East tonight and would have probably beat Alabama.
I'm not even a Florida fan, but in my mind Florida was the best team from the East this season.

Grea defense but their offense is just not. Ery good because it is so one dimensional.

We will never know will we. But we do know that if Fla had beat UGA, they would have had the chance to play Bama today.

Its paper rock scissors and USCe matches up so well against us that Id say yes...they are kryptonite to our superman and not to mention Spurriers untimley hatred for uga...so Id say thats fair...but they had 2 loses...we had 1

yep, I believe that since we both now have 2 SEC losses, and USC owns the tie breaker, we move past them in the rankings, right?
