THE STUPID frickING B1G TOLD MISSOURI NO, BUT THEN WENT AFTER MARYLAND....frickING MARYLAND....

Guys, Mike Slive is the smartest league commissioner in America, bar none. And, it's not because he is all that much smarter than other top-notch lawyers. It's because the other commissioners are so fricking stupid. GOOD GOD!!!

Ruffians, you should be glad the B1G said NO. You're in the best conference EVAAHHHHH!!!

Virginia Tech has openly come out and said they won't go to the SEC before. They are afraid and rightfully so. Plus they have a much easier ride in the ACC, so why risk a chance to play for the national title by playing real teams? It has no upside for Virginia Tech. As for UNC, they are not leaving Duke behind. Also I really don't want UNC. Kind of the Missouri of the East Coast in football. Very mediocre and don't do much. They are just there.

UNC won't leave Duke. NC St could prove to be a sleeping giants in the area, though. With the ability to tout SEC playing time and new facilities with SEC money, NCSU could start recruiting very well in a very fertile state.

Also, I'd rather have UVA than VaTech.

Enough with the expansion. I like A&M and Mizzou fans, but seriously, 14 teams is enough.

The move will be to 4 - 16 team conferences... You will play 7 in your division, 1 rivalry game (early in the season), then the championship games will be basically Quarter Final Games.. I would bet on the Big 10, Big 12, Pac 16, SEC...

The current problem is we have 5 major conferences...

UK is a basketball power, brings respect to the conference considering March Madness is one of the most popular sporting events in the country. Good to have basketball fire power when it comes to conference bragging rights.

You have to take my thought on ATM literally and Mizzou figuratively.
