This is a link I found on the dawgrant and figured yall may enjoy a Notre Dame melt. Kudos to Athensdog for the thread and AmericusDawg for the link

quote:

If you sold your tickets to a UGAfan Then to hell with you. You're not a fan and you can go directly to hell. I kid, but not really.. There was a distinct home advantage for UGA and you caused it. People with six figure salaries and season tickets or tickets they purchased sold out their team for a few bucks. The stands were red and you could hear the roar of their fans outside of the gd stadium every time they made a play. In a 1 point game, you cannot say it did not make a difference. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You committed the mortal sin of fandom.

quote:

Yeah fudge u and the uga prick that bought it. Also NBC for the UGA love @ the end. Pissed bring on Irma

quote:

Thanks Wooly I posted the same message on the other thread-if YOU HAVE ENOUGH $$$$ TO OWN THOSE TICKETS SELL OR GIVE THEM TO A REAL NOTRE DAME FAN AND STAY THE ^%$# AWAY FROM NOW ON. IT WAS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ALL MY YEARS (53) AS A FAN OF THE GREAT PROGRAM. HOW DO YOU THINK THOSE PLAYERS FELT WALKING OUT THAT TUNNEL AND HEARING HERE COME THE IRISH DROWNED OUT BY BULLDOG &^%%$%$#. Worst display I have ever seen and something should be done about it. Many things about this program need changing ( lack of a home field advantage is one of them) but tonight an out gunned Notre Dame team stood up and fought and that was good news-that I liked.

quote:

Even if you didn't sell it to a uga fan directly but put it up for sale on any site you basically still did ND a disservice. ND's own fault for ridiculous season ticket pricing that probably takes the passionate middle class ND fan from being able to afford it.

quote:

Such a joke. ND fans should be embarrassed! I watch the Huskers/Oregon game earlier and The announcers brought up the ND/Neb game years ago with the "Sea of Red". You should lose your right to even own tickets if you sell them and turn a damn HOME game into a 50/50 split. EMBARRASSING

quote:

I'm stuck in a parking garage with drunk UGA fans outnumbering ND fans 30-1. It's worse than the Nebraska game by a large margin. It was worse than a home UGA game because they are also all stoked from traveling to the game. Like I said, if you sold your ticket... then you're dead to me.

All of the above is from page 1-3 and there's 31 pages of quality melts

Irishenvy is an awful site. So many arrogant and pompous shite heads that way. The meltdown after the Alabama arse whippin was all time great as well.

Well done Dawgs.

But I don't understand ND fans melting, they haven't been that good for a long time.

so the obvious move is to make an ND fan alter and provide some justification for "Selling your ticket" and watch the world burn.

That site, IrishEnvy.com, is the best for deluded, melty ND fans.

The whole idea that anyone envies Notre Shame is laughable. Well, maybe Purdue fans envy ND, but that's it.

Serious Q- Does anyone born after 2000 give two shits about Notre Dame or know who they are?

Torched them on another site over not allowing Uga to make the trip. No class.

Notre Dame was in the national title game in 2012, but to what I think your main point is, no Notre Dame is no longer a top 5 program and probably never will be again. They do not have the advantage of being the only team on TV every week like they did prior. They still have the Catholic thing, but their exposure being so much better than everyone else's was what made them the program they were IMO. They don't have that anymore and never will again.

There was a good article on ESPN last week saying the time is now for ND to join a conference and how they are losing money now because they dont have that brand awareness like they did prior.

Just still pull in plenty of causal fans across the country with the Catholic angle.
