Who goes to the playoffs? I say Bama needs the SEC title to jump them. Which means Ole Miss must lose a remaining game which is likely but not guaranteed.

Bama gets in by sheer recent history with those tools.

The Northeast/Westcoast/Midwest would LOVE to leave the SEC out of the CFP. They will take any excuse to do it. Doesn't help that Bert and OP lost to mid majors, and Aubie almost lost to an FCS team.

The only way the SEC is left of the CFB is if Ole Miss wins the SEC.

be close. Would have to see what happens with Clemson. ND is being view as a part of the ACC in the committee's eyes. If Clemson loses and ND wins out, i think ND is in regardless.

I don't think a 1 loss ND gets in, no Conference Champ game.

Why are you so sure? I did not watch any of the A&M game but that kind of score plus getting players back has to help. Just looked at your remaining schedule

Auburn-W
Arkansas-W
BYE
LSU-"throw the records out the window" series
MSU-see above

It isn't out of the realm of possibility for Ole Miss to finish with only one conference loss.

Both.

Well this is all assuming that B1G, ACC and BIG12 all produce an undefeated squad.

As of now, I'd put ND ahead, as I suspect the committee will do next week. (Bama still has some meat left on their schedule)

Say Ole Miss doesn't lose any and Bama is left out of the CCG...I think ND goes ahead of them.

That's why I say Bama needs the SEC title. Clemson loss>Ole Miss loss. That's why I would side with ND if Bama is left out the SEC CG.

Then Bama.

But that's not going to happen. tOSU/MichSt are suspect and could lose, Baylor/TCU have no D and could lose, Clemson goes typical Clemson

There's no way at least one of those doesn't happen. It does every year. It always gets mixed up

I think I'm just being a Negareb. I can't remember the last time we won at JHS, no matter how bad they are. Arkansas didn't just take advantage of our injured team last year, they were a matchup problem. LSU, our run defense has been pretty good this year but LF is another animal on the ground. State, we typically don't win in Starkville in the last decade plus it'll be Dak's last game in Starkvegas.

There isn't a game left on the schedule that I think we have a horrible chance in, it's just looking at our recent history I think. But you're right, getting Tunsil, Walton and C.J. Johnson back was huge. When we get Conner and Nkemdiche back, it'll make a big difference as well.

No. SEC, B1G, and Big XII champs are all going to get in (as long as 1 loss or less). Last spot is between ACC and Pac12 champs. No conference is getting two teams in, unless very unusual circumstances.

Only way ND has a shot is if they go undefeated, and if they beat out a P5 champ with one or more losses. ND needs to join the ACC and stop pussing out by relying on the unwarranted hype every year. Big XII needs to add two teams and get a CG again.

There's no way Clemson is fighting for a final spot if they are undefeated. They are in before any 1 loss squad.

This is a constant topic here in Oklahoma, the rub is who do you add? BYU is a popular choice but then that make the conference span almost the width of the US, and who is the 2nd team that would bring $$$$, they don't need another TX team so that leaves out Houston.

Agreed. Any undefeated P5 conf. champ is in. Any one loss P5 conf. champ gets in before a 2nd team from a conference that already its champ in, or ND.

All this and one (one or more loss) P5 conf. champ still gets left out. Looks like Pac12 right now or ACC (assuming Clemson loses a game).
