Greeting to one & all (except the Boogs, of course) ~

Even though I check out this very good SEC fan website forum almost every day during the CFB season, I rarely post anything. But since there's gonna be a really important game down in Baton Rouge on Saturday afternoon, I feel a strange compulsion to say just a few thing in *favor* of Leslie Miles & his LSU Tigah team.

To wit: I have been a very enthusiastic Bama fan for more than 5+ decades, and, believe it or not, I usually cheer for LSU on Gameday Saturdays, as long as you're not playing against my beloved Alabama Crimson Tide.

Sound strange? Well, it really does seem like only yesterday that Cholly Mac was leading his LSU team to a VERY big win againt the DEMONS of Notre Dame, which is something that even the legendary Coach Bear Bryant was never able to accomplish, despite having FOUR good shots at doing so. And if you know anything about the TOUGHNESS of Cholly Mac, then you'll remember that he played his GUTS out for Kentucky when CPB was large-and-and-in-charge @ UK many moons ago.

Which brings us to the very interesting kerfuffle that is gonna transpire down in Red Stick in less than 48 hrs. from rat now.

HEY, LSU: Even though you will *never* forgive CNS & nasty ol' Bammer for ruining your outstanding opportunity at CFB immortality back in 2011, this should not, in any way, distract you from the significant task-at-hand that currently stands in front of you, namely, a MAJOR BEATDOWN of the stinkin' Awbrin Boogers, who will soon be polluting the atmosphere of South Lousiana.

Be it a 30+ win or more, please do NOT feel constrained, in ANY way, to take your foot off of the gas pedal, even if there are only 30 seconds or less remaining on the 4th quarter scoreboard.

Yes, yes, I know that you utterly *despise* anything & everything having to do with the Crimson Tide, but every now & then, the Red Stick Tigahs & the T-Town Elephants actually work together in order to BEAT DOWN the ISIS of the SEC, them AWFUL Southwest Jawja Boogers. LSU & Bama will sort things out later in the year, so we'll just put that little topic aside until November 7th rolls around.

LSU vs. the Boogs on Saturday afternoon, and then Bama vs. the Oxcart Freezie Bears later on that night. Whatz not to like about this terrific upcoming SEC Gameday Saturday???

Therefore I say, without the slightest hesitation and/or lack of enthusiasm, GEAUX LSU & Roll Tide ROLL, from now until 12AM on this upcoming Sunday morning.

Get it DONE, LSU. And we Bammers will certainly strive to do the very same thing against the Fightin' Freezies from Oxcart.

And as soon as LSU & Bama *both* rack up another FINE SEC win, you Cajun Tigahs will be perfectly free to turn your considerable vitriol back against the Tide once again, which is something that certainly needs NO extra encouragement from anybody outside of the Baton Rouge vicinity.

And that, dear friends (and/or ENEMIES), is THAT.
