Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor, Ole Miss, LSU, and A&M are playing in a "tournament" at Minute Maid Park. The SEC schools will play a round robin against all the Big 12 schools and vice versa. A&M, Ole Miss, and LSU will not play each other

it is a rough period, for sure. but it is not like we haven't been here before. being an Ole Miss fan builds character..you learn how to handle disappointment. I will recover, I always do. thank you for your kind words however.

Yeah it got bad, and it's getting bad for their bullpen now.

ETA: The guy they just put in has an ERA of 27.00

Thanks for the info. I just looked at A&M's schedule and had no idea. So... BTHO the Big 12!

As far as I can tell we're getting their 3 best. Good challenge.

as an aggie, you should prolly keep Ole Miss out of your mouth. your soft little football squad has lost 3 in a row to the rebs in football, and it would be 5 in a row if not for 2 last second scores and a quarterback named manziel...not to mention the best baseball squad you've fielded in 20years managed to split 4 games against Ole Miss last season...talk smack to anyone else. a@m is our bitch until further notice

Sheesh, insecure much?

I'm pleasantly surprised to belatedly learn this is 3-on-3 SEC vs. Big12 and we face the Big12's best. Should be an interesting weekend.

Thanks for the reminder about Manziel's games in Oxford, though! I was there for both of them and walked away both times thinking A&M stole those games. The difference between SEC and Big12? If those games had been against and at Texas Tech we'd have seriously needed a police escort out of the place. Ole Miss fans are fine by me.

Not true, but denial is usually a symptom of being a real fan.

Told some folks in Hope and Hot Springs the Bobby hire would bite them in the nuts but they want too hard to believe the power of the Hog brand could overcome the ego of Bobby. When it hit the news cycle about the wreck 1 of the folks I warned called to tell me I had been correct, the other still has not checked in as denial can block the pain.

Hog fans are not alone, BCG was a known problem yet many UK fans can be summed up well when that all came down. This image may feel too close to home for some UK fans.

According to their twitter acct/reporter he was alert and responsive as they carted him off, should recover. Some news that he "thumbs up" as he was stretched into the ambulance

Have to imagine he will have some concussion type symptoms as a lasting scar though

Mizzou has won 7 in a row without Hauck getting going yet or playing a single home game.

Been hitting very well. Hopefully we can make some strides this year.

Yeah, I'm anxious to see how the team performs to stiffer competition. Regardless, the wins have been substantial for the most part. Thompson was a great hire IMO.

Auburn should have a much better baseball program. your location alone puts you close to some of the best high school talent in the nation. and the state of Alabama has damn good baseball high school teams. I guess your admin and fans just don't give a shite about baseball. Thompson could change that mediocrity; hope he does.
