Could someone explain to me how "the country" doesn't want a rematch when ...all 3 polls in the BCS... have Alabama ranked #2. That includes the computers which supposedly take eveything into account and BOTH human polls. Funny how "no one" wants to see a rematch. It may not happen, but it appears to me that someone wants to see it.

I suggest you write a letter to sports illustrated/CBS sportsline /CFN/ etc.
Make sure to use the word "turdition", the phrase "God-given right" and call the BCSNCG the "SEC Invitational".

Is that what we saw in the SECCG last year? Isn't that what the strongest indication for a Chik-fil-A bowl is? Rematches work every year in CFB and the NFL. It's also the theme of the ACC CG. B1GCG is a rematch. Its a thin argument. If it happens it happens.

Not yet. For almost everybody outside of the SEC, the biggest, most important, most determinate games of the season haven't been played yet. At the top of this list is OSU vs. OU. Alabama is #2 by default, only because there is ZERO chance that it will become a 2-loss team. That can't be said about the other teams that might become #2 on Sunday.

So nobody wants to see it but yet the writers (or whoever), coaches and computers all voted Bama 2nd. Weird huh....

Third:

If AL does end up beating LSU, then there will still be controversy over who the national champion is seeing as how they split the two games they played. They would have to then have a tie breaker game that will never happen and leave LSU AL fans to debate who is the real champ forever.

pretty sure they already are but a win probably means they get all 8 at number two and not 6 of the 8...it's always been down to the human polls...going to be an interesting weekend.

Well for all of the Bama' fans/coaches/pundits politicking for rematch in the BCSNCG, not ONE can give any kind of non-opinion based reason as to why they should even be in the game.

You do realize teams have been jumped before on the last week of the season, right? And there are several pollsters on record saying they will do just that if Okie State wins? And Okie State only needs 15 total pollsters between both polls to put them at #2 in order to make it into the BCSCG provided they are a unanimous #3?

Yes I certainly do, but as of right now Bama is number 2. If thy vote Okie state #2 next week I will say good for them. Will you do the same if Bama is voted #2??
