This isn't really all that much of a football question as it is towards basketball and baseball. Talking SECCG and higher.

Even though I think baseball is the most boring sport on planet earth outside WNBA, all this SEC pandemonium because of Florida and LSU got me kind of hyped to be honest

ETA: God damn I went off on a tangent. Should be implied, but obviously talking about teams that pretty much were a bunch of average joes that somehow came together and won the big game over perceived better teams. What are a few teams your university has had that really weren't considered all that good on paper but came through in the end?

Yeah. I don't get the no name championship teams part. LSU in baseball is definitely a name

on paper this LSU team isn't near some of our other teams that never won a national title. But they are playing well at the most important time. Sometimes you need a few breaks to go your way

Probably should've started with this but Auburn is a good example from 2013. Worst to first and I can't really recall knowing or caring about any player on that entire team before the season started. Obviously players became more well known after the season started, but that team was definitely a huge surprise to a lot of people.

This is your worst effort ever and it ain't even close. Just ask to have this thread deleted and try again when you sober up...

This guy named Matt Mauck came off the bench and ran a couple of QB draws to beat a UT team in the SECCG that had finally gotten over the hump of beating a one Steve Spurrier.
