No link because I read it from a paysite. He said Auburn has made nice adjustments with their injury situation and that their dline is dominant and the best we will have faced this year. Said they are very well coached and that it will be a challenge to control the line of scrimmage. I don't think the team will overlook Auburn this week.

Sabes lives by the coaches code.......all coaches are good coaches

Were you worried Nick Saban would overlook Auburn?
Regardless of rivalry and whatever, that man does not like us

He said the same thing the week Alabama played Western Eastern Shores New Hampshire, does good job getting team ready for whoever is on the schedule

He'd be nice about the Cleveland Browns before Alabama played them too. He's classy, even when he knows he's about to beat some arse.

He may not like the fans or administration at Auburn. But I bet he respects the coaches and players at Auburn. Outside of 2012 ever game we've played has went into the 4th QTR within reach of both teams.

Sure. He still just hates Auburn. He'd hate Auburn if he wasn't at Alabama.

Saban's always complimentary in his capacity as a coach. People call him an a-hole, and I have no doubt he can be one in his general dealings, but he's extremely professional in how he talks about and to other programs and coaches. That's just the kind of coach he is, and people don't have to like him on a personal level to acknowledge and admire his consummate professionalism.

He's a coaches coach, he respects other coaches and respects guys who play hard. I'm 100% sure he respects Auburns dudes, and coaches for that matter.

He previously hated Auburn from when he was at LSU. When a man like Nick Saban hates an opponent and makes it known to his players before the game, that is the real compliment. Not the crap he feels like he has to say to the media.

And why wouldn't he respect Gus. Just look at the '09 '10 '13 '14 and '15 IBs all could've gone either why in the 4th. You could put 2011 game in there it was 27-14 heading into the fourth. And yes I know Gus wasn't the HC in '09, '10, or '11 he was still a big part of it.

The Barn has a solid team whose Def will keep them in it for 3 quarters. O side looks a little crazy with injuries but I wouldn't doubt for a second this is a low scoring affair.

Auburns probably had the most success against Saban than any other program, going back to his LSU days. We beat them up pretty good in 2002.... 2000 and 2004 were close wins for AU.
I could see how he'd want to always make a statement.

That's what I'm thinking a 23-13 type of game. Auburn could win a 20-17 like game if we force some TOs

You def have the ST advantage so if it comes to a FG it's over. Unless we block it somehow. Should be a good game, I am looking forward to it.
