Meh, they both threw the ball when they should have ran it. They both choked when it counted, this year..

Kate Perry and her sharks need to appear again at Ole Miss. Maybe they could have a big celebration and change the mascot again.

Saban is not in Carroll's league. Even Allen isnt stupid enuf to run off a back2back Super Bowl coach.
Wont happen, but Nick may flame out next yr and run to the NFL. Much more likely. I hear Dabo has first dibs after the flameout.

Little Man Syndrome Nicky couldn't cut it in the NFL. He bailed on Miami and left them with a mess.

Plus he has the SEC HQ in his back pocket. He won't get the same scheduling & officiating treatment in the NFL.

I love how LSU fans make it out like he "couldn't cut it" in the NFL.

He quit, he wasn't fired.

The reason the Dolphin fans were mad was because they wanted him to stay. You don't get mad if a bad coach quite, you're happy about it.

15-17 in the NFL after 2 seasons is pretty mediocre, the vast majority of NFL coaches are around .500 for their career if you look at it, the NFL isn't like college, 10-6 gets you into the playoffs usually and thats .625, that's like going 7-5 in in college. You don't get creampuff games in the NFL and a ton of games are about 50/50.

There's probably at least 10 NFL teams who would snap take Saban again at this point too, so yeah... he's a college coach because he enjoys it more, it's as simple as that. He's sort of a control freak and that doesn't jive as much in the NFL.

Hypothetical for Bama fans: would y'all be upset, happy, or just figure it's a wash if Saban went to Seattle and Carroll came to Bama?
