2008 Sugar 31-17 L
2009 Rose 37-21 W
2011 BCS 21-0 W (shouldn't have been in)
2012 BCS 42-14 W
2013 Sugar 45-31 L (lol)
2014 CFP 42-35 L

So my question is how can the University of Alabama and their fans be happy with supposedly the greatest coach in College football history when he has a 3-3 record in major bowls? A 50% winning percentage.
An even better question will be how will they feel once being swept by tLandmasses?

TIA

Alright I guess. Pretty impressive to be in 6 major bowls in 7 years and win three of them. But what the frick do I know.

Because his 3 wins were to win national title games, and his 3 loses weren't to lose national title games directly.

Saban is overrated. Any time Bama loses it is because of poor coaching by default. Like 6 out of 7 number one ranked recruiting classes means they always have more talent than the other team.

Meyer and Stoops are better.

Because those three wins were championships.

Man your argument would hold water if Saban wasn't the one getting those players.

There is no such thing as a #1 recruiting class. Everyone in the SEC has NFL players. Everyone recruits the same damn kids. A significant portion of Tennessee's team had Bama offers. Bama just has a better coaching staff and players are more likely to develop at Bama.

Think if big game Bob had Saban's players. Would be 14-0 every year

I said it yesterday, I think we should fire Saban and hire Gus as head coach and Gene as the DC. We will win a NC within 3 years. Mark it down

Is he? He's 99-18 as a head coach at Alabama. His last seven regular seasons have ended like so:

2008: 12-0
2009: 12-0
2010: 9-3
2011: 11-1
2012: 11-1
2013: 11-1
2014: 11-1

And it's very possible Alabama could finish the 2015 regular season with an 11-1 record. That would be five straight regular seasons with 11 wins.

Bear Bryant had a pretty average bowl record, but is still considered the best to ever do it.

He was 12-10-2 at Alabama in post-season play.
