All of the halfway decent coaches he has run off. Even the better coaches have broken down and been sent packing or left..I'd be willing to bet my left sack that if he wasnt there, some of the higher profile coaches would even take jobs in the SEC right now. I mean seriously. Herman takes a look at the teams he has to compete with every year in the Big 12, then takes a look at the Sec West with Bama in it.. I think that made his choice an easy one.

Saban just coaches a team to the best of his abilities. He consistently brings the national championship to the SEC where it belongs.Saban is doing his part to bring prestige to the conference It is your schools overreactions and desperation fires that has damaged the SEC. Bama and Saban made it stronger, the other schools impatience and inability to accept that Bama is the rightful flagship of the SEC that allowed the Big 10 to catch the SEC in talent. It isn't Saban's fault he is doing his job well, it is your school's fault. It isn't like this is the first time Bama has had the best coach. This is the way it is supposed to be. You may blame the ad's at your schools for not recognizing this.

Nick Saban developed a process that works and being the head coach at a school like Alabama is a perfect match for his process.

As long as Saban recruits the top class every year BAMA will win and win big every year.

His wins are directly tied to the quality of his recruits, finishing in the top 1 or 2.

He is a good coach, very good coach but put him at Kentucky and he wins games but does not dominate college football.

Alabama's rich tradition attracts the best college athletes and Saban simply takes the attraction and multiplies it ten fold

Nick Saban is the only thing propping up the SEC.

Honestly the money destroyed the SEC. Made it too easy to fire coaches, too easy for programs that should have low expectations to have high ones.

this guy took a team of Mike Shula players led by the likes of John Parker fricking Wilson and was 1 quarter away from a national title game. That winning cause he gets the best players is the biggest line of bullshite since Gus was suppose to own the state.

Bama and Saban made it stronger,

If you were going to assign percentages to both of these as far as which one has the most importance to Bamas dominance what would it be.
I would put it at 100% Saban 0% Alabama.
If Saban was at LSU he would be doing the exact same thing. Hell he could do the exact same thing at Auburn.

Alabama does have some built in advantages that make recruiting a little easier.

ETA: but he still does it better than anyone save the Bear, and the Bear didn't have scholarship limits.

Some programs look like lottery winners trying to manage their wealth.

"Some programs look like lottery winners trying to manage their wealth."

I agree but the fact that many put so much emphasis on beating Alabama they let victories slip away when they should be happy to have winning records. Concentrating on their own programs rather than chasing the legend that Saban has built would pay off much better. Build you own team up rather than trying to tear down others.
