Since before Nick Saban when was a coach with a winning record fired ,then Nick Saban wins championships and all these athletic directors try to compare their program to Bamas and it doesn't stack up so you have solid coaches being pushed to the wayside .I cant help but to think when Saban retires bama won't be in contention every year

Are the AD's at other programs really trying to compare their HC's to Saban?

I think the AD's are just trying to push their HC's to produce at an acceptable level every year commiserate with the level of talent they bring in and the exorbitant coaching salaries they are forking out.

There is absolutely no excuse for LSU or AU to chalk up 8-4 type seasons for the last 3 years. Talent abounds, facilities are top notch, financial and fan support are strong. Bama/Saban is only 1 freaking game a year.

You honestly have a good point. You will get alot of hate for this, but your point is very sound and reasonable.

Well l6u changed the landscape of swamp rats by hiring a DL coach. Let's see how many AD change now.

In the SEC they are. Depending on the school of course.

20 years ago winning an average of 9-10 games would have gotten you a lifetime contract. We have seen Les Miles and Mark Richt get canned for doing just that.
Gus is on the hot seat, Chizik got fired two years removed from a title, Muschamp got canned......well he was crappy, Tennessee has been in a downward spiral and Butch is on the hot seat(he should be though) and so on. Hell even in other conferences winning 7-8 game isn't good enough for some programs.

There is if there is a lot of parity. There is alot of parity in the conference below Alabama.

Assuming I have interpreted the illiterate phraseology correctly, I'll ask you this question...

...did you, or your friends, or anyone you are familiar with, "help Mac pack?"

I would say Gus Malzahn and Chip Kelly did more to change college football than Saban. Probably Malzahn more so.

Some have said Coach O is a fine Shrimp Boat Captain, too.
You shouldn't omit any of his qualifications to lead L6u

Nope just the SEC. AD are putting pressure on coaches to make their program Alabama when that's not possible. Dynasties aren't built like that every year if they were almost everyone would at least have or been close to a NC in the past 10-20 years. From the SEC its basically been Bama, Florida, Auburn, and LSU.

Saban changed how coaches are measured, he raised expectations. Kelly and Malzhan have changed how the game is played in terms of offense and how defenses have to react to stop those offenses.
