Start real threads man. Not just what you think is clever. Bring some material. Help the board. Be a good addition!

Great thread, OP. I'm going to have it engraved on my tombstone.

He had a great performance in their biggest game

He was good. Part of being the best is being durable.

Freak accidents happen..not like he just wore down..he landed awkwardly fighting for yardage. That said, Henry was clearly the best back in the nation this year.

We held him to 2 yards.
(I felt awful to see him go down, and I hope he makes a full recovery for next season.)

Stats?

Henry was the third best back behind McCaffrey and Cook. Henry's success is a reflection of his durability and shorty using him like a rented mule.

Unfortunately, the season is more than six games long.

Jeremy Johnson was the best QB in the SEC this season...
Before he couldn't read defenses.

Will he be back next year?

I printed this thread and mailed it with my Christmas cards. It's going to brighten up a lot of holiday seasons.

Either him or LF7, but who cares? Chubb got hurt, LF7 had to face an NFL defense with the entire country watching and the NFL defense crushed him which isn't surprising.
On the other hand Henry stayed healthy, produced big numbers, and is on the best team in the country.
Henry isn't the best or second best back in the SEC, but he was the easy choice for the Heisman this year - no doubt about it.

Nick Chubb is very good. But he almost got shutdown in the Alabama game like Fournette. Unitl the end of the 3rd quarter, he only had 63 yards and no TD.
Right before the end of the 3rd quarter he broke free for that 1 run of 83 yards and a TD.
If he hadn't broken free for that run, I believe the Bama D would have held him under 100.

1. No he wasn't
2. It doesn't really matter because he couldn't survive a full season

He's got some rivals, but yeah... not a quality thread OP. Post less, or at least don't start threads... comment in others.
