It has everything you want in a segment about the South.

Racism? Check
Obesity? Check
Bad education rankings? Check

Thanks ESPN for a great profile on the #1 team in the country. I am glad you didn't waste too much time actually talking about the team.

You know, most of the SEC states have a history of racism and violence. I don't understand why ESPN feels the need to bring them up every single time Ole Miss or State have a big game. You never hear about Alabama's checkered past during the Iron Bowl, and they never mentioned Little Rock when Arky was kind of relevant under Petrino.

Tennessee and most, if not all, northern States had racist laws.

Pissed me off too because I know if this was the first time Bama was #1 they'd be talking about Gov Wallace at the steps of the University and Bull Connor with the german shepherds and fire hoses.

Stupid bullshite segment. How long will ESPN continue to run all that shite.

Can they not come thru with any other types of stories. Hell, they even thru Ole Miss under the bus and we aren't even playing today.

Sick of it. Its not worse in MS than any other state in the deep South.

What did they say about State in regards to racism? I didn't see the segment but State doesn't have a bad history of racism that's worth discussing
