Problem with Men's soccer is you'll have to add a women's sport too. I'd be down for beach v ball or maybe bowling.

So...what is the differences between this trophy and say the directors cup for instance? I ask because MU is 13th in this one, but ranks the 3rd highest(15th nationally) SEC team in the directors cup...why the despairity? Oh, and congrats gators and Kentucky on great years.

The Directors cup spring sports are not updated because while the SEC regular season is over, a few spring sports are still going on at the national level such as baseball, softball, tennis, lacrosse etc.

Also, the Directors cup rewards schools with more sports. So a school with fewer sports than the maximum has to perform really well in more sports just to compete to be in the top 10. Florida is the only school to have never finished outside the top 10 and it competes in only 21 sports.

With 36 sports, Stanford would have to have a really bad year in half of their sports in order to fail to finish in the top 5. They can throw out the performance of their bottom 16 sports. That is why they usually win it. They have won it 22 straight years.

So, Stanford gets the same amount of points for winning the picking nose contest as Alabama does for winning a football national title, and they can throw out their last place basketball team's performance, but Bama has to count theirs, and so on.

At least one national championship won every year since 2010, 15 in total across 6 different sports. Pretty remarkable stuff.

That's not a fair trade. Muschamp ruined one sport (football), McGarity has ruined at least 3 team sports. frick that guy, I wish Florida would offer that sack of shite another job. Thanks for nothing
