Absolutely. Should've never been a situation where they weren't our permanent opponent.

I'd much rather UK, Mizzou, and LSU

In basketball, I would definitely rather have Kentucky than A&M.

LSU, Mizzou and Kentucky would be the perfect permanent opponens that would usually boost RPI and sell out BWA.

Who would you have paired them with? Those are all former East teams they would play twice a year when we had divisions and some "natural" matchups. Especially Tennessee. More often than not in the last decade they've been a tournament team with a couple Sweet 16 appearances. If anything they're the kind of team where the stronger schedule will help them out come March.

Yep. They basically just rolled our football "rivals" over in to basketball. Not too surprising.

I'm a little burnt they've got us paired with South Carolina instead of Florida.

Vandy/Kentucky/Florida would have been ideal for almost every UT fan. Im happy we were able to get at least 2 out of 3 though

Why go to permanent opponents? This is completely unnecessary.

Play a non-conference game in years that there isn't an SEC home and home...
