Sometimes you see a player who averages 3 ppg and will only have 1 year of eligibility and you just have to take a chance on that caliber of player no matter what.

A day after he committed to transfer to LSU, it was revealed that former Oregon basketball player Kavell Bigby-Williams has been under criminal investigation for an alleged sexual assault in Wyoming, a report says.

Played the entire season at Oregon, but it wasn't a problem then?

You have trouble with sequences of events, don't you?

is accused of assaulting a woman on Sept. 17-18, the OU campus newspaper
So, they let him play a whole season knowing that, doesn't sound like a big deal at all...funnily enough, a Oregon newspaper randomly releases this just a day after he commits to LSU
The butthurt is real over there

Played is kind of a strong word for it...
but the LSU poster below you is suggesting that LSU found out the day after he committed like the public did. Which is it? Y'all need to get your stories straight.
I would go with your version, because if LSU recruited this kid and didn't know about something like that then that's an even bigger problem than the kid himself IMO.

Funny how the narrative always changes when it involves your favorite team

I'm not sure which narrative is changing. This was made public by an Oregon ran newspaper the day after he committed to LSU. The investigation itself has been ongoing since before last season started and Oregon played him the whole season.
I mean, I'm sure Oregon found out about this right after he left their roster, too
Or the most likely scenario, everyone knew about it, and not much is there which is why no charges have ever been filed for 9 months going on now, which is why they played him, and Wade took him. But a butthurt Oregon newspaper will deface him because no he left them.

I sent an email to Coach Jones expressing my displeasure with this decision to bring this player to LSU

So if this happened for Florida or Alabama, you would make the same excuses for them?

LSU has not released anything saying that he is transferring. Maybe they are waiting to see what happens with this issue? He wouldn't even be eligible next year.

Huh? What are you even talking about. Nobody is making any excuses.
Are you really that naive to think everyone didn't already know about this? Oregon absolutely knew and played him an entire season. It's been 9 months and nothing has come of this...but again, hey, the day he leaves Oregon an Oregon newspaper puts out someone accused him of assault 9 months prior. Put 2 and 2 together.
If something comes of it, he's gone, not like it matters. He cant play till 2018-2019, not really worried one way or another.

That's what your fellow LSU fan Guava Jelly is suggesting

Do you know what facts vs. an excuse is?
Again, are you really that naive Oregon didn't know anything about this, yet the day after he announces he's officially leaving, an Oregon newspaper says he's under investigation since Sept. of last year.
I mean come on. You don't believe that to be just purely coincidence now, do you?

I believe you guys actually got a new coach.... but I'm with you on this. I wouldn't want to bring a guy like this in to represent my university.
Maybe Avery at Bama will take him. Their football program has already set the precedent that they're okay with bringing in guys convicted of violence against women.

Why does that ultimately matter?
