I guess technically he is ""apart" of the Real RBU" given that he's not in Fayetteville. Good try though, kid.

Damn twitter character limits gets us again.

But seriously, Auburn has historically had better running backs including the best running back of all time.

oh also, this thread title made me think of another story.

Back around 2001ish UGA and Arkansas were the finalists for a weirdo lineman named aaron scranton. His decision came down to NSD and he chose UGA. But to rub salt in the wound he still sent a LOI to arkansas. Only it wasn't filled out, it just had the word "No" written across it.

don't worry, yall didnt' lose anything.

Remember how I called him a weirdo? I believe he quit football in his FR year to focus on martial arts or something. I think he was into swords. I'll see if I can dig up some more info.

Just four days after reporting to Athens and one day after telling an Athens Banner-Herald reporter how happy he was to be back with the Bulldogs, walk-on defensive end Aaron Scranton left the team, Coach Mark Richt confirmed Friday.

Scranton signed with the Bulldogs in 2002 and then left campus less than a week, giving back the scholarship and moving home to Alpharetta, where he fathered a son and got a job selling vacuum cleaners door-to-door. However, he returned to Georgia this year as a walk-on, saying he was tired of "all that real world crap" and ready to help the team.

That didn't last very long apparently.

"The bottom line is his heart wasn't in it," Richt said. "He lost his desire to play the game."

This chance was Scranton's last with the Bulldogs, Richt said.

"He's done," he said.

Scranton couldn't be reached for comment.

Only one school has two heisman winners at running back in the last seven years. So I guess we all know who the real RBU is

Does Auburn have a single running back starting in the NFL right now? Bama has 3, possibly 4.

Honestly over the past 15 years or so Auburn and Arkansas have similar respectable résumés on putting RBs in the NFL.
