Depends on the service, but most are there and the rest are going to it. It's not a great department, but it's devastating to threaten an institution over it.

If she wanted to attack it on the basis of they are over the top for some things and issue a statement of disapproval and initiate conversation for things, like when the university instituted Transgender bathrooms in all buildings when only 5 of the 12,000 students are trans. I could get on board, but this rep uses her position to threaten folks.

I am a strong gun proponent and holder of an enhanced carry license but this is crazy. Our state passed a Church protection (offering immunity to church members who go through training to protect the church) act last year. I've heard no mention of our church pursuing that but would decline if asked to be a part. I went through class with people that I wouldn't want to be in the same parking lot much less, Church or football stadium if they went to shooting. Allowing anyone to tote is ridiculously retarded.

They are statistically the most law abiding demographic in the states.

Good.
And before the gun controlls freak out, it's only for CCW permit holders

I'm not for gun control but that dude that shot up the Miami airport and the kid that recently went on a killing spree in Mississippi were both concealed carry permit holders. The Mississippi guy was a Enhanced Carry holder.

I go to a small(100 or so) members on Sunday. Our Pastor asked a few of the members who he knew could handle a pistol to carry in church on Sunday and to take different points of entry. I carry and know the others who do and have no problem with what we do. The preacher also carries.

And in Alabama if you are caught DWI or drunk in public you lose your CCP if you are caught carrying and drunk.

We need to hire extra security for when Gus goes back. There is no telling what some of his stalkers on here are capable of.

Is WMS included in this bill as well?

This bill is fueled by the ever growing envy that LR has with the Razorbacks and NWA.

I say we Annex NWA from this shitthole state. Let central arkansas and University of Last Resort have a football team. They can spend all day getting drunk, f'n their sisters, and shooting eachother inside of Waste Management Stadium.

If they ever allow guns into football games at Bryant Denny I may just have to sell my tickets and use that money to build a viewing studio for games. Ain't no well in hell I'm going into games with the 85% drinking cheap liquor, carrying and getting pissed the first time we throw on 1st down.

Jesus Christ. You think 85% of the fans will be carrying?

12% of Alabama residents have a CWP, the highest of any state in the country. I'd venture to guess a small fraction of those with a permit would actually carry into the game. Of those that do, they would be breaking the law if they carried while intoxicated, so hopefully most would only do so if sober.

But I get that these facts don't instill fear of inanimate object, so continue with the fearmongering.

It's not even that high. 10.21% of adults in Alabama.

"The 85%" is a description of the non alumni Alabama fans as coined by Clay Travis. My semi joke was that the 85%ers would probably drunkenly start shooting people whenever things went badly during the football game.

It is not a mathematical estimate of the % of people inside BDS who would have a weapon.
