Your're right.... I was trying to give Vandy the benefit of the doubt. They'd lose by 5+ scores......

ND St. would beat quite a few power 5 teams. They sure has heck would beat Vanderbilt more often than not.

I love what Vandy is doing too. They won't be a threat for a decade.

NDSU is two touchdowns better than Vandy. No question.

If the game was played today I give NDST a small advantage. You can tell they are trying to get the defense up to speed and have some issues in the secondary.

Later in the season (assuming that they improve defensively) I'd have to give NDST the nod to win fairly comfortably.

Of course Vandy could come out and be fairly decent this year.

If I am NDSU, I make a big push to get into the Big 12.

NDSU has a good football program that has beaten some Power 5 teams in the past few years. Their softball team made a Super Regional, basketball is an NCAA Tournament sweetheart.

The bevo12 would be stupid not to give them a serious look.

So of course they'd never do that

I always feel so bad for Vandy. Always liked 'em, but I wonder if they'll ever get their day.

If Vandy ever does win an SEC Championship in the modern era, every other team in the conference will celebrate (including whoever they happen to vanquish in ATL). Guaranteed

2014 NDSU would've beaten 2014 Vandy by 2/3 TDs or so.

Assuming 2015 Vandy is slightly better and 2015 NDSU is slightly worse, I'll set the line at NDSU -10.5 on a neutral field.

Vandy had one of the worst hires in SEC history. Vandy needs to take the approach that a lot of building teams take and go to an air raid offense.
