Wait, we were told on this very board that the Tunsil stuff was it and that was already resolved with the NCAA. Of course this was after we were told by Reb Black Bears and, apparently Coach Reverend Beaver told recruits, that all the allegations involved the previous coaching staff. Do you mean to tell me that some of the posters on this very board were lying? I am, I mean, I........just....shocked!

So are you saying State, AU, and the third school are out to "get" you?

No. That's not what I meant. They want to beat us, sure.

However, what I meant was that the NCAA absolutely has an ax to grind with OM.

NCAA granting immunity... Guess Steve nailed it again. Oh and with the NCAA going down this road, they're out for blood.

It's funny they don't mention the other west school. Wonder if it's Alabama. I would think either them or LSU.

It's Texas A&M. Look at who the Rebs signed last year that was previously committed to other schools.

NCAA Enforcement representatives have visited Auburn and Mississippi State, and perhaps at least one more SEC Western Division school, this summer to speak with players who were recruited by Ole Miss. The players were granted immunity from potential NCAA sanctions in exchange for truthful accounts of their recruitment, sources said.

Oh yeah no conflict of interest here that could skew facts to make ole miss look bad. Can't see any reason for recruits to lie about their recruitment

Johnathan Kongbo is also talking to the NCAA about Ole Miss.

I wonder what the process is for the NCAA interviewing players. I would imagine they have to at least get permission with the ADs of those schools.

if you are an athlete playing in the ncaa or a coach, you have to speak to the ncaa. there is no granting or not granting permission

Well, when your coach and AD have publicly lied about the investigation, while also challenging anyone that has info on their cheating to report them, these kinds of things tend to happen.

nothing pisses off the NCAA more than being lied to or challenging them. Freeze hasn't helped himself with either one of those

Honest question for the Ole Miss folks. At what point do you turn on Freeze/Bjork? At some point do you begin to believe that all their denials are to benefit themselves and not OM.

That they've been throwing Hail Mary's, because the degree of the sanctions doesn't matter to them if they aren't there. So for now, they deny, deny, deny and get raises and collect $4 million for one more year rather than fess up and get fired now and lose out on the last big payday of your career?

The defiant way Bjork and Freeze have handled this at every turn has played well in Mississippi but undoubtedly made it worse in Indy.

The NCAA is made up of people. And what do people do when they hear Ole Miss make false public statements about the case? They get mad.

To bad Chris Jones isn't still at MSU to talk. I'm sure Leo Lewis will have something.

Maybe if Ole Miss hadn't been waving their fat, poor, stupid, racist dicks in the NCAA's face with their blatant cheating for the last 4 years, they wouldn't have an axe to grind.
