I had hoped to get out of the Norman regional but that is a tough opening game loss, particularly if we get Oklahoma on their home field trying to stave off elimination.

Given the proximity between the two programs you will have that. We don't play them as often as we used to but Tulsa has been a rival of Arkansas for decades because its cheap for them to get over to Fayetteville.

Mind you, other then losing to UCF, Tulsa has been red hot down the stretch so it wasn't the biggest shock in the world.

Mississippi States best infielder was an Arkansas transfer too. Too bad they didn't give the new coach a chance(if that's why they left).
