And our "shocker" is UCSC hosting at Lake Elsinore, 3+ hours away.

I'm scared to think how empty that stadium will be, unless USC gets the 2 seed there

About 40 min apart.

The great state of Texas with 4 regionals.

Lots of good options for Arkansas. So naturally they'll send us to California or somewhere.

The rant is understandably bitching about our history with the committee. 2011 LSU had a 24 RPI and didn't get in, but Fullerton is hosting with the same rpi and worse record

that's almost as bad as Ron Polk giving State the nod over LSU in 2005.

Lots of close sites to Arkansas, so they will put us in California or Kentucky.

MSU's AD at the time was Larry Templeton and be was the head of the committee... He fricked LSU that year... Not Polk.

I hope they send Ole Miss to Dallas or Springfield

Whoops, good call. I just vaguely remember State having some serious pull on the committee that year, and their resume was dogshit

And yall made it to Hoover and MSU didn't that season ... And you beat the #1 seed Alabama in your first game in the tournament ... It was an all around shaft job.

I kind of feel bad for CoC.

They have an RPI of 17, 43 wins, 4-1 vs top 25, & 8-4 vs top 50. I guess they needed to win the Colonial.

It feels weird with no hosts in SC, NC, VA, or GA.

Some comments from HC of CoC.

"I am pretty disappointed. I thought we had a good resume vs. some of those teams. With that, we're excited to go on the road in the postseason and be a really dangerous No. 2 seed."

I'll be pissed if we're not in Springfield. I've got a line on box seats if the come up here.

So yeah, they're going to ship us out to California.

With 3 host sites I expect all west coach teams in those sites. Probably won't be room for Arkansas. You may get sent to Stillwater, Dallas, or Fort Worth.

With Kentucky likely on the outside looking in, I hope an SEC team gets placed in the Louisville regional. I might have to check it out.

Springfield or Stillwater would be my choices. Dallas third.
