There is a growing sense among NBA executives that Florida Gators coach Billy Donovan is looking to making the jump to the NBA more than ever before, according to league sources

Sources told ESPN.com that Donovan is poised to draw interest from multiple NBA teams this offseason and is increasingly prepared to listen to those pitches after the Gators endured a 16-17 season in which they failed to qualify for postseason play for just the second time in Donovan's nearly two decades in Gainesville.

Good move for him. Could really screw Florida in the coach carousel though.

What NBA jobs are likely going to be open? There are just a handful I can see him jumping for after signing an extension like he did this week.

Not sure, always at least a few, I don't follow the NBA literally at all.

but the contract contains a buyout for a mere $500,000 if an NBA opportunity arises.

Billy's agent is smart.

How many days does he want to make the jump for this time? Anthony Grant and John Pelphrey are both still available. It's like 2007 all over again.

I don't see the buyout being a problem for any NBA team, but I could see him being picky about where he wants to go.

Bulls would be appealing as hell if they wanted him.

Denver

Following Brian Shaw is the easiest thing ever. Even if you lose a lot, as long as the players don't want to die rather than play for you, you were an upgrade.

They've got Pelphrey and Grant ready to go.

We'll take KeVaughn Allen back gladly.

OKC or does Brooks still have dirty pics of all the owners?

Brooks has the backing of Westbrook and Durant. Given Durant's impending free agency, that will likely have great sway in this decision (injury or not, until Durant proves he can't get back, he's presumed to be a superstar).

I don't see OKC as a fit for him, if they get rid of Brooks.

Huh? I can't imagine a better fit. High pace, tough defense, run and gun, very athletic and long. It is like a Billy Donovan wet dream coaching scenario.

Yeah, and who knows with teams like Cleveland or New Orleans too, but those would be interesting. I dunno if there's bad blood with Orlando and frick getting into that Denver mess. There might be other possibilities I'm missing as well
