no way Oklahoma wins out at this point. But there are some rumblings about them winning out, and making the CFP. Like I said, no way or at least far-fetched. But it got me to thinking; programs to lose during the season, but still win the national title. I also bring this up because there are some SEC mentions in here. Just a fun topic/thread overall. Here is the list:

2. Who they lost to and the score
3. The opponent's position at the time

What a boring arse post.
Let's compile all the national championship game losers that lost during the season (it's a shite ton).

I believe there was food involved in the meeting. Not sure if it was Skyline tho. Perhaps a secret Shoney's breakfast

There's a much simpler way to make your point.
Let me show you:
In the BCS-Playoff Era, every national champion except Florida in 2006 that had at least one loss had a home loss.
2003 Florida - Home loss to LSU
2007 LSU - Home loss to Arkansas
2008 Florida - Home loss to Ole Miss
2011 Alabama - Home loss to LSU
2012 Alabama - Home loss to Texas A&M
2014 Ohio State - Home loss to Virginia Tech
2015 Alabama - Home loss to Ole Miss
2016 Clemson - Home loss to Pittsburgh

This was from when they beat OU a few years back when OU was #2.
