I give Tennessee fans a little hell for having the 5th best pct since 1970, but they were 2nd in the SEC up until then, at least for the long standing SEC teams.

How do you define Original Big 6? Which decade/era?

Alabama
Tulane
LSU
Tennessee
Georgia Tech
Mississippi State
Why? They were the first six to win conference titles within the SEC.
