Name one reason that Jameis Winston should win the Heisman over JFF

JFF has better stats has played tougher competition and is more fun to watch IMO.
I know FSU is undefeated and all but come on man.
Do yall really think Winston would be a Heisman candidate if he had to play Bama, LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Missouri, Mississippi State etc???
He had a good game vs Clemson but other than that game who have they beat? An overrated Miami team, and????
Johnny Football has 30+ TDs passing and put up 400+ yds total offense vs Bama. Thats all I have to say about that.

Winston is the key component FSU needed to finally make it to the MNC (if they finish).

His team has an indian mascot. That is about as rare as a unicorn nowadays. All other things being close to equal, that should push him over the top, imvho.

It's regional voting. Last Big 12 pushes for Petty(assuming Baylor is undefeated), holdovers on the Left Coast for Mariota, and regional competition in the southeast between the two should make for interesting drama. I think people don't want to give it to Manziel unless it is plainly obvious, and if he doesn't beat LSU, they'll give it to Winston(unless this sexual assault thing keeps lingering and doesn't have closer in the next couple weeks).

His numbers would be so much better if his D wasn't good. Manziel is on the field throwing the ball down field late in games because his D is a liability

I can't even give one reason anybody deserves it over JFF. JFF should win in a landslide but it won't happen because the trophy is becoming a joke

This isn't my personal opinion but I think the voters like that FSU is undefeated and A&M has not lived up to their preseason hype. Unfortunately, I think Manziel and A&M needed to beat Alabama, even though Manziel doesn't play defense.
