myles garrett is the most overrated player in the country

obviously the headline on him is that he had 11.5 sacks last year, but 8 of those were against ULM, Rice, and Lamar.
UL Monroe - 3.5
Rice - 2.5
Lamar - 2
South Carolina - 1
Mississippi State - 1
Ole Miss - 1
West Virginia - .5
Arkansas - 0
bama - 0
LSU - 0
Auburn - 0
SMU - 0
he did lead the SEC in sacks per game, but filter out non-P5 schools and he falls the 16th. there were even 2 other freshman in front of him.
nationally, he was tied for 90th vs P5. there were 5 other freshman in front of him.
he wasn't even top 50 in the SEC in tackles per game
apparently the key to becoming first team pre-season all conference is by not actually doing anything in conference
and now hes playing under chavis, so he might not even reach those numbers again

He was hurt the second half of the season, and had very little help.
Plus teams didn't have to pass against us much because our run d was so bad.
It's fair to be skeptical, this year will tell us a lot.
