Sup guys. I saw goodbuds make a topic like this, so I figured I'd make one similar for my thoughts on the Gamecocks season that starts in 6 days. For each game I will post my percentage of us winning and give my thoughts about the game.

Tarheels - I say we have an 85% chance at this one. Should be a pretty close game, but I think we'll be a good 2 touchdowns ahead. feeling pretty good about this game.
Kentucky - I'd say 60% chance at winning this one. I still can't believe we lost to 'em last year, but for some reason I just don't see Kentucky as a threat, but I do feel it is pretty realistic to say we could lose this one.
Georgia - This one I'd say it's a 50/50 chance for either team to win. This one's going to be really close I feel. At this point, I can't say which way I feel it's going to go. I have to see both teams a little bit for their first games to make a good judgement on this game.
UCF - I'd say this should be a decent game, with about a 75% chance of winning.
Missouri - I could see us losing this one, but I'd say about 60% chance of losing. We may pull the upset on this one.
LSU - This is the first game I'm pretty sure we're going to lose. 80% chance I'd say.
Vandy - Win by a pretty good margin. 90% sound too harsh?
Aggies - I want some revenge on these guys. I feel this will be another 50/50 game. Really want to beat 'em tho after last year's game.
Tennessee - Can't believe we gave this one up too last year! I'd say about a 65% chance of winning, should be decently close.
Gators - I think we're going to get the Gators again this year. 70% chance at winning this as it is now. They may be back this year for all we know.
Citadel - Do I even need to talk about this game? 95% chance at winning in my opinion. I always give the other team at least 5% because you never know.
Clemson - No idea about this one. At the end of last season when this was our only game left, I knew we were going to lose. This year though, I just don't know. I'd say it's a tossup this year. 50/50 unless something big happens to one of us this year.

I think y'all beat Georgia because the game clearly means more to Spurrier than it does to Richt. If y'all went 1-11 every year, I'd bet most years the one win would be Georgia.

Not sure why Steve has such a boner for them, but he does, and he's owned them for the most part throughout his career at USC and Florida.

I think the LSU game will be close. This is one of the games I'm legitimately concerned about.

I could see y'all losing to LSU (although I think it would be close and I think y'all could realistically pull it out), UK, Mizzou, Clemson and Tennesee. That said, I could see y'all winning each of these games too.

No idea what to expect from USC vs A&M this year.

No chances of winning below 50%.

Seems totally legit

I said that we would lose to LSU, and that we would most likely lose to Mizzou also. Georgia, Clemson, and the Aggies I said could go either way. I don't feel I overestimated USC this year, but I'm not going to underestimate them either. I feel 8-9 wins is pretty reasonable.

Yeah, it seems Steve just really wants to beat Georgia. Kinda fearing that game. That's one of the games I couldn't believe we won last year.

I'm also kinda fearful with LSU. As for UK and Tenn, idk, never really feared 'em all that much. Of course they're good teams and they shouldn't be taken lightly, but compared to Georgia and LSU, they just don't seem as big. Although they will be good games I know, I just feel kinda confident with these two.

A&M..man oh man I hope we get some payback. XD

A&M blew y'all's doors off in Columbus with a worse QB and worse D last year and you think this is a 50/50 game?

I think they'll finish between 4-8 and 7-5. I have them as 6th in the East, but I think they could finish as high as 4th.

Neither is fact quite yet. I feel Connor Mitch will be a good asset to this team. Even if he's not, we have plenty of others just waiting for their shot. I've got no issues on the QB situation as of right now, although I wanted to see Lorenzo Nunez become the starter. As for our defense, nothing can be worse than last year, especially the defense we put up against A&M in particular. Just my opinion of course. We'll see on gameday.

I was talking about A&M.

You honestly think you have a 65% chance to be Tennessee in Knoxville? Butch owns Spurrier. We won't need a last second field goal to beat you guys this year.

This type of prediction is completely understandable honestly. I don't expect anyone to think we'll do good after our showing last year, and really it's actually pretty crazy for someone like me to have the opinion I have. I guess I'm just a bit more optimistic with some big questions needing answered. I'm just not ready to count ourselves out just yet.

Ah, I apologize for misreading. As for that, all I can really say is that I'm confident. Maybe foolishly so, but confident nonetheless. I feel comeback will be the word that describes our season this year. Unrealistic? Maybe, but not impossible either.

Those are fighting words, my friend. :)
We'll see I guess. If I'm wrong, I'll admit so once the score is final.
