Carlton Davis will be a first rounder for what it is worth in a year or two. And you would think with such studs in the secondary LSU could have held Sean White under 70% completion and 230 yards.

Sean White was 19-26 for 234 against all of those 1st rounders. I don't see anyone crowning him as an elite QB in the SEC this year.

I've already said Auburn's d line was better than LSU's. I'm not bring insecure I'm just being honest. LSU has an NFL secondary. Your D is really good but your secondary is not as good as LSU's and that's okay.

Its hard to accept because it isn't true. I didn't know you all had a top 5 pick playing a safety and another first rounder playing at corner.

He is talking about the team, you are talking about a player

To say
Aubbie's secondary is as good as LSU's is crazy talk.

Pass Defense

Auburn ranked 3rd, LSU 6th, yards per game
Auburn 4th, LSU 9th Completion percentage
Auburn 3rd, LSU 2nd TD's Allowed
Auburn 3rd, LSU 6th Yards per attempt

Well we are playing better than LSU's at this point, so I guess we live in a crazy world...

ETA, but it is nice that yall have some players that will do well for their future NFL team...

That's a valid argument but we just played against the best QB in the SEC. You will find out what your secondary is made of this week. We'll resume this discussion after that.

I expect Freeze dial up some new looks this week but I can't see them sustaining drives against Auburn's defense without keeping them honest against the run.

Freeze better dial them up early because he's terrible in the second half.
