He's 64, and just a dude, but here's who he thinks shoulda been in the playoff, looking back:
Clemson
Bama
Ohio State
Stanford
I have to agree.
I personally wanted Ohio State in their for a while, they might have the greatest collection of weapons in CFB. JT, Braxton, Zeke, and Marshall woulda given Bama all they wanted and probably more
Edit: TECHNICALLY he said those were the 4 best teams, not who should have been in the playoffs

Technically, he said those were his "top 4 teams." But I like to envision a playoff with those teams and a Bama, OSU rematch

Stanford lost 2 games (one to Northwestern) and Ohio State didn't win their own conference title. The committee got it right

Fambly. Keep it down home, cuz. Don't be saying that stuff out loud.
The playoffs were manipulated to favor Bama and keep out all of the other good teams. No one can prove it though.
Like they say, it's an ongoing investigation.

Yep, can't lose two and be bitter about not making the playoffs.
If the committee had let in another two loss team, oh yeah, they would make the argument. Didn't happen. We're pretty happy.
