LSU is not beating bama

Maybe, maybe not, but with Aranda running the defense, we have a shot. And if Canada is anything close to what we are hoping, we have a better shot at beating Bama than anyone else in the SEC.

Canada's offense outscored Clemson last year with a QB no more talented than Etling, and with an offense way less talented than what LSU has.

why not? He lost to JJ over there.

Hey, if you guys can hold us to 6 pts and no TDs then yes, Etling has a chance to pull a JJ.

So, the same bold prediction everyone has been making for 6 years?

Maybe not is the correct answer. You won't beat them. I will put whatever you want on it that Bama beats LSU

I made the same statement 2 yrs ago.. they won the NC.

A hiccup is eventual but I'm not attempting any more predictions. Til we see it... the Tide Rolls on.

Saban isn't losing to Danny Etling in Bryant Denny

He lost to the combined efforts of Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson at Bryant Denny in 2011.

Who left the dam gate to Tr open again? Now the freaking loonies are loose and it will take until about September to herd them back into the barn.

It is predictable. The level of insanity and delusion over there reaches a fever pitch.. ever higher.. ever more fantastical .. until one of the true believers has to migrate over here. Every dam year. Remember Brandon Harris Heisman? It is a perpetual joke.

And no one.. I mean NO ONE... believes in the magic of a coordinator like LSU. Can anyone even name the coordinators of Clemson.. the NCs? It is ridiculous.

LxU (x for fill-in-the-blank number)... leading for off season championship at top of stretch and pulling away... 6 lengths! now seven! ... it is an of-season championship run-away..

His only home loss like that in 9 years to possibly the 2nd best SEC defense of a decade. And it took holding Alabama completely out of the endzone to do it.

But yeah, good example.

LSU definitely has as good a chance as anyone on alabamas schedule to beat them. You're booking bama winning on etling not improving and for lsu to be the same offensively that we were last year and that's just not the case. We are going to be a completely different team on offense with the same stout defense. It will be another good game like it always seems to be.

Wasn't that combo also undefeated against everyone they played that season?

Except for the game that mattered, of course.

I'm really not seeing the hype surrounding FSU. I'm not saying they won't be a good squad...but they have a porous oline, a questionable WR group, and a QB who tends to hold on to the ball for far too long.

No one with an ounce of brains would put money on LSU beating Bama. I am not one of "those LSU fans" beating my chest and declaring "this is the year" we gonna whoop Bama, bookmark it", blah blah.

But to the guys saying LSU has no chance, you are stupid. Ole Miss and Clemson scored a ton on Bama last year. We don't need to score a ton with our defense to have a shot at beating them. Will we? I don't know, but as opposed to the last several years, this actually is the year our offense will not line up in the I and try to pound the ball through Bama's D like idiots. The new offense may not work either, but at least it might. The I definitely does not.

Who do they have replacing Cam Robinson at LT? Can they coach him up to hold like Cam did? That boy was a game changer.
