Defensive back Al Harris and defensive end David Johnson, two former defensive starters, have been dismissed from the South Carolina football program.
"They are no longer part of the team," South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp said. "We wish them the best."
Harris was a Freshman All-SEC performer his first year on campus playing in 12 games with four starts. He had 21 tackles and broke up three passes. Harris played in 11 games last season and had 25 tackles with four pass breakups.
