He has in fact, better than anyone thought he would.

I do not believe he is going anywhere however, he moved his entire extended family to Starkville including parents and in-laws, while for me that would be reason enough to leave , they all seem to be enjoying it there.

I would be OK with that. If he left for a school like that, would could blame him? But if he left for Maryland or Virginia, the melt will be bad.

Plus, I'm a USC fan, so I guess that'd be cool.
