Most logical move to me. Think about it. Mullen is a great developer of talent and a QB whisperer (the anti-LES) but a poor recruiter. LSU croots itself being the only major program school in one of the most talented states in the country. Mullen also knows the getting is past-good in starkville, and he may be willing to leave mid-season to avoid missing a bowl game this year in starkville

Fedora has a history coaching in MS and gets a chance to coach in the best division in college football. Plus he can use his old ties to recruit at worst the same level of talent currently on the roster at State

It is decided

Fedora would be an absolute clown to leave Chapel Hill for Starkville

He's only making 2 million right now...he could get an extra million (mullen makes 4 now) for coming back here and competing in the best conference in America. Fedora don't be scared

The last time they hired a former USM head coach it didn't turn out so well.

Dan Mullen meddles with a defense too much. LSU would hate him after a few years. Mullen >< Fedora

Mullen would murder at LSU.. We don't have half the talent of any other team in the West every year and still somewhat of a threat.

A guy Les receuited as a TE just won an NFL game at QB. Advantage=Mullen

That's incorrect, we have as much talent as Arkansas, at least on paper. It's our staff that's failing us, that should be clear to any State fan by now.
